The BDC shelter downtown reconnects us all under one groove and becomes the vault for a raw collection of genuine seeds of dance.
We introduce you to the new addition to our weekly party series, "Purple Rain." The truly promising dance music project seeks to intensify the current shift in Athenian nightlife.
The producer, DJ, music curator, and member of the Glory Hill Studio, a community of artists and thinkers that participate in the future of electronic music in Greece, Baby Jones curates PURPLE RAIN, the new weekly residency party series at Burger Disco Club.
BJ is one of the very few Greek music producers who has always been guarding the underground house music local scene, while his passion and work volume drove him to international success, seeing his productions hit no. 1 on numerous platforms and collaborations with world-renowned music labels.
On this week's Purple Rain, BJ is joined by Bellas, an upcoming DJ and producer emerging from Thessaloniki’s electronic music scene. From early on, he earned residencies at some of the city's most renowned venues and has also performed at major events in locations like the Stavros Niarchos Cultural Center. He thrives in all-nighter DJ sets, seamlessly blending sounds across the broad spectrum of disco and house music.
Beyond the dancefloor, Bellas is a passionate producer, constantly exploring new sonic territories. His tracks reflect a keen sense of structure and emotion, merging driving beats with intricate layers of synths and percussion. His music captures the energy of Thessaloniki’s underground scene while resonating with international audiences, establishing him as one of the country’s most exciting emerging talents in electronic music.
The Burger Disco Club team, dedicated to preserving house music for over 35 years, hosts the longest-running party in Greece, featuring artists like Frankie Knuckles, Louie Vega, David Morales, Joe Claussell, Gilles Peterson, Francois K, Ron Trent, and numerous others.

The party originates from a freestyle blend, showcasing an unending repertoire of hip hop, garage, funk and disco jams, inspired by the divine music talent of the artist formerly known as Prince; all merging into a peculiar, haphazard, and entertaining sequence designed to take us into the profound origins of dance music.
Arrive early to savor the legendary smash-that-disco burger yummies and sparkling cocktails in a relaxing atmosphere with a cosmic vibe, specifically designed to enhance the character of Thursday's groove at the BDC basement.
