FLO REAL

FLO REAL, formerly known as "da nightnurse," draws inspiration from the r'n'b, soul, disco, funk and reggae sounds of the 1970s and 80s, rooted in her father's vinyl collection.

Starting her musical journey during the golden era of hip hop and influenced by radio programs such as Gilles Peterson's worldwide show, Florence soon began exploring all facets of electronic music, crafting eclectic, soulful sets with a jazz attitude and an afro-funk feeling.

She honed her skills while working at Kruder & Dorfmeister’s renowned “G- Stone Recordings” label and became a member of the Dub Club Vienna family around the same time.

After a two-year stint as an on-air personality at Vienna’s 98.3 Superfly.fm, Florence joined Moodymann's Mahogani Music label in 2010 represent the Detroit music movement, raw like a roll.

As a core member and resident DJ of Vienna's hottest house music collective, “A Party Called JACK”, she continues to make waves in her hometown.

Her healing sounds and unwavering passion for THAT GOOD STUFF will mesmerise you.
