GEORGIOS ANAMATEROS
Georgios Anamateros, also known as Anamateur, is a self-taught jazz pianist, vocalist, and songwriter.
His main influences are Fats Waller, Cole Porter, and Thelonious Monk, as well as Ernst Lubitsch and Fred Astaire.
Since 2006, he has been regularly performing in various concert venues in Athens. His repertoire includes jazz standards, as well as original compositions characterised by their lyrical melodies and witty lyrics. He is sometimes described as a jazz comedian, but he has a well-hidden face of melancholy.
His first album "One doubt arose in the mind of a noble vigilante" was released in 2016.
