MERA NYCHTA - DAYNIGHT REUNION feat. ADRIANOS PAPADEAS

Between October 1990 and June 2000, DayNight (Mera Nychta) went on an amazing journey.

Housed in the historic N. Smyrni square, adjacent to the world-famous Adonis cafe, in the former “KB” (KAPA BETA) police station, Mera Nychta pioneered being the first to host Sunday events starting at noon.

In a very short period of time, it became established for its clean drinks and amazing music (way ahead of its time).

Historic bands and living legends like the Pyx Lax, Domenica, Ble, Energy, have performed live at Mera Nychta many times.

Not only did it have great music, but its staff—made up of bright and successful young people—was famous for making and serving fantastic cocktails and other drinks of the greatest quality.

Top Greek music producers anbd DJs have played music at Mera Nychta; Adriannos Papadeas, Manos Markou, Christo K, Akylla, Kleopatra Fyntanidou, Pascal, Kremydas Tony, Mr Dennis, Arris Nagna and more.

In December of 2023 Lambros Labrikidis featured an interview at Nea Smyrni Online (the e-version of the printed local neswpaper being published by Horizons and delivered door to door across the municipality non stop since 1981), where it was first revealed his decision to have a reunion within the year 2024 “somewhere at Nea Smyrni”.

Things seem to have turned out even better, as the reunion takes the form of an experience to be shared with the wider Athenian crowd as Labros Labrikidis visits Burger Disco Club a couple of months ago and falls head over heels for the club. 

The thought hit him like a bolt of lightning: Finally, a new space was revealed, and the time has come for the Mera Nyxhta habitues and patrons to meet again and celebrate a special reunion at Burger Disco Club.

This time, not only reviving memories of the past but also giving birth to a new cycle of the Mera Nyxhta vibes for the older to remember and the younger to discover, towards shaping the day and night life of the 21st century, together, as one.
